Dr. Eric Walters, DMD
Dr. Eric Walters leads our team at Islay Hill Dentistry. He provides patients with personalized aesthetic and restorative dental treatments, and is dedicated to helping them achieve optimal oral wellbeing leading to healthy, beautiful smiles. He has completed extensive training in conservative, minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry in order to provide natural, undetectable results. Dr. Walters knows that every patient is a unique individual with different goals, expectations, and dental concerns and takes that into account each and every time a patient puts their trust in his care.
Dr. Walters is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Central Coast Dental Society.
Michelle
Michelle, the Operations Manager at Islay Hill Dentistry, is Dr. Walters’ partner in both love and business. Michelle has a passion for art and design which is showcased in the interiors of Islay Hill where she created a visually appealing, yet calming and welcoming space for patients to feel at home. When she is not involved in the operations of Islay Hill, Michelle loves to read, dabble in design, and spend time with her family and pets in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA.
Shilah
Shilah loves being in the front of the office and interacting with patients, getting to know each one individually so she can make a positive impact on their day. She feels blessed to have found Islay Hill and to make such wonderful connections. When not at work, Shilah enjoys painting, drawing, going to the beach, and spending time with loved ones.
Kim
Kim has been in the dental field since 2003, starting her career as an assistant. Her passion for dental care fueled her into pursuing hygiene in 2017 graduating at the top of her class, and earning the Golden Scaler award. Kim has recently completed the RDHAP program at California Northstate University. In her free time, she likes to go off-roading, snowboarding and hiking with her 2 rescue dogs, Duke and Maddie. She also competes in Spartan Races and loves working in her garden.
Samantha
Samantha, a dental assistant at Islay Hill, has always had a passion for dentistry since she was young. She loves helping patients achieve ideal oral health and enjoys forming close-knit relationships with them. Away from work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She especially adores hanging out with her husband, going shopping, and kicking back for a relaxing movie night.
Jen
Jen has been a hygienist for 10 years. Her passion lies in providing quality patient care with a comforting touch. She has two kids, and when she’s not working, you can find her riding her horses, dancing for no reason, helping her kids with their 4-H projects, cheering on her favorite baseball team, laughing with friends, running with her Bernese mountain dog, or just enjoying all the central coast has to offer.
